Did you know that you can hit wedges to get your golf swing timing back? That’s right, the shortest clubs in your bag can help you get your rhythm.
Most of us can’t wait to get out of the cold and hit balls in the spring. Then we run to the range and start pounding drivers but that is not the best way to get your swing back. As a matter of fact, it might even do more harm than good.
The best way is to start slowly with the shortest clubs in your bag. I usually warm up more and spend at least seventy-five percent of my practice hitting wedges to get back in golf shape.
I also use training aids to make sure I am practicing perfectly. Here is a link to the training aids you see in this video including the Single Plane Trainer for working on swing positions and the Alignment and Ball Position Trainer for ensuring proper ball position and stance width.
